Wiktor "Taz" Wojtas: "Katowice will remain in my heart forever"
In the new video from Atlanta you will see a big interview with the captain of our CS:GO squad.
Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas told Maria Yermolina about things that changed in his life, the formation of the legendary Golden Five, the preparation for OpTic Gaming and many other things.
it's like... the thing about major is that we're missing a lot of payments, we are missing medals, we are missing bigger prize pool, we're missing better computers, better hotels... It doesn't feels like it's a major. It feels like it's a normal tournament which is called the Major because Valve agreed that this is a good event, it was run good, so, guys, now you can have a Major. But I think that Major should stand for a lot more. It should be an event where I go and I'm like, "Wow". And then I enter to the stage and I'm like, "Wooow". I go to practice, I like "This is amazing". This is something I was expecting. No. We are here, we are at ELEAGUE Major, and well, this is like ELEAGUE. This is ELEAGUE Season 3 with additional "Major". And if you win, you'll get a finish in your inventory or get Major statue, if you're in quarterfinals or further. But for me it doesn't feel as special as first Katowice event, where we had 10 thousand people roaring on the stage. And it, uh... Whole event was like normal, like normal ESL event, but the stage and the reasoning behind the Major with the biggest crowd up to date was something new. Now this is normal. With big crowds, Majors and stuff like that. I'm just hoping that Valve would understand that they really need to step up a lot and create something epic, not something just as addition to the events.
