VP.G2A to face MVP Project in the first round of SL i-League StarSeries S3

Drawing has ended for the first round of the group stage of StarLadder i-League Star Series Season 3. Virtus.pro G2A’s run in the LAN finals will begin on April 4 with a match against MVP Project.

16 teams will take part in the final stage of the third season of the i-League StarSeries. Of these, four have been directly invited by the organizers, while the remaining 12 slots were decided in the regional qualifiers. The prize pool for the championship is $350,000.

The group stage will use the Swiss system. The winners of the first round will play each other in round two; the same goes for the losing teams. In order to advance to the playoffs, a team must defeat three opponents in a Best-of-1. Teams are eliminated from the tournament after three defeats. Subsequent matches will be in a first-to-two-wins format.

  • 1st place — $125,000
  • 2nd place — $50,000
  • 3rd–4th place — $25,000
  • 5–8th place — $10,000
  • 9–11th place — $6,000
  • 12th–14th place — $4,000
  • 15–16th place — $2,000

The StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 LAN finals will be held in Kiev on April 4 to 9. Matches in the play-off stage will be played at the Ukraina National Palace of Arts.
