Virtus.pro to face OG at The Summit 8

The final The Summit 8's group stage compositions are now fully revealed. OG will become Virtus.pro G2A's third opponents, Evil Geniuses will play against compLexity, and LGD Gaming picked fnatic as their group-stage competitors.

VP chose Sacred to Group A first. LGD Gaming's choice fell on OpTiC Gaming, while Evil Geniuses picked Team Kinguin. The final group composition will be revealed 10 December.

The Minor's group stage will be held in a circuit system. The group leaders will advance to the semi-finals, teams in the second and third places will fight for the last slot in Ro4. The play-off and Wild Card will take place in an elimination best-of-3 series, except for the grand final, which will be played in a best-of-5 format.

The final part of The Summit 8 will take place 13 through 17 of December in Los Angeles. The Minor's prize pool - $300 000 and 300 DPC points.

Virtus.pro won't be the only ones to play with a sub – Sacred's Álex "Masoku" Dávila spot will be taken by Jimmy "DeMoN" Ho. Stand-ins will be awarded 50% DPC points, the other players – 75%.
