Virtus.pro finishes DAC 2018 in the third place

VP lose the ticket to the Major's final to LGD.

The first game was opened up with a kill from Virtus.pro. The early game was an equal battle. LGD made a series of successful ganks and claimed the first Roshan. After losing their external structures, VP managed to reclaim the initiative by taking the second Roshan. A loss in a crucial teamfight forced LGD to defend their base. After claiming the third Roshan, VP marched on to the opponent's highground. The Chinese were unable to defend their base and conceded.

The second game's first blood was shed by LGD Gaming. Both teams showed an equal level of play in the beginning. VP have lost all of their T1 turrets, and the Chinese roster claimed the first Roshan. After destroying all of the remaining VP's outer structures, LGD claimed the second Roshan. The Chinese team attacked VP's highground, but were pushed back and lost their mid lane as a result. However, LGD Gaming have won the next crucial teamfight and claimed the third Roshan. Virtus.pro could not defend their highground and surrendered – 1:1.

The grand-finalist was decided in the map number three, which was opened up with a kill in LGD's favor. The Chinese emerged victorious from the map's early game. LGD Gaming claimed the first Roshan and left Virtus.pro without any outer structures. Thanks to the series of successful skirmishes, however, VP managed to stabilize the experience and farm deficit. VP were victorious in a fight over the second Roshan, but LGD managed to score a last-hit. By snatching away the Refresher Orb and Cheese, the Chinese team managed to turn the fight around and destroy the opponent's top lane. VP defended their highground and retaliated by taking two of LGD Gaming's lanes. The Chinese team ultimately won the deciding teamfight and advanced to the grand-finals – 1:2.

Virtus.pro have claimed the third place, winning $105 000 and 225 DPC points.
