Virtus.pro will not play in Six Invitational 2021

Alan "Rask" Ali and Andrey "Andreezy" Baviyan have tested positive for COVID-19. The R6 squad won’t be able to participate in the Six Invitational this year. Before the tournament team was isolated during bootcamp and test results from May 4 were negative. But as soon as the players went home to prepare for departure we ran another round of tests that came back positive for Alan and Andrey. The Invitational is the biggest tournament of the year for which we prepared very seriously, but unfortunately, even observing all precautions can’t fully guarantee safety against coronavirus. We’d like to apologize to all of our fans for not being able to perform at SI. We hope that Alan and Andrey will soon recover and start preparing for the next tournaments.
