Virtus.pro will attend ELEAGUE Major 2018 as Legends
Virtus.pro G2A received a direct invite to the ELEAGUE Major 2018 among other seven teams who finished the previous Major's group stage. The championship will take place on 19 through 28 of January in Atlanta and Boston. The prize pool will be $1 Million.
In Krakow, Polish players yet again earned the Legends status and guaranteed themselves a spot in the upcoming Major. Such teams as Gambit Esports, Astralis, Fnatic, BIG, Immortals, SK Gaming, and North also advanced to the PGL Major Krakow 2017's play-offs.
Tournament's schedule:
- LAN-qualifiers – on January 12-15
- Group stage – on January 19-22 (Atlanta)
- Play-offs – on 26-28 January (Agganis Arena, Boston)
The event will be broadcasted on Twitch, YouTube, and the TBS TV-channel.

Virtus.pro claimed second place in the first ELEAGUE's Major of 2017, losing to Astralis in the grand-finals. Play-off stage took place at the Fox Theatre, Atlanta.
On PGL Major Krakow 2017 VP claimed the 3-4 place. Brazilian team Immortals – who ended up finishing second – closed gates to the grand-finals for our team.
