Virtus.pro to play in IEM Katowice 2018

Virtus.pro CS:GO roster has received a direct invite to an IEM Katowice tournament that will be held as a part of IEM XII World Championship. Alongside VP, the organizers invited Astralis, SK Gaming, G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Faze Clan, and Cloud9.

16 teams in total will participate in the championship. The remaining nine spots will be distributed among closed qualifiers' winners with one spot for a Farmskins Championship #2 champion.

Virtus.pro are the champions of EMS Katowice 2014. The Poles defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas in the grand-final with a score of 2:0.

IEM Katowice 2018's prize pool - $500 000. The tournament will take place from 27th of February through 4th of May.
