Game stats (Mirage):
The duel began on Mirage, picked by the Swedish team. Virtus.pro started on offense. The Poles won the first three rounds, then made two misplays while attacking points (3-2). VP.G2A then took back the initiative and gained a four-round lead (7-2). Before switching sides, individual actions of Swedish players helped narrow the score gap: 9-6.
On defense, the Poles prevailed in the pistol round again. Following two ecos for fnatic, NEO scored a triple kill, winning the first full weapon round for his team (13-6). The Swedes took the A site after winning in one-on-one encounters (13-7). Now holding the initiative, they won another two rounds (13-9). Virtus.pro G2A restored their economy and went on to repel three enemy attacks in a row: 16-9.
Game stats (Cobblestone):
The duel continued on Cobblestone. The Poles started on defense. In the pistol round, fnatic faked an attack on the B site and then successfully took A (0-1). An attempted quick assault on B by the Swedes ended up essentially bogged down in VP.G2A’s grenades (1-1). After a force buy and an eco for fnatic, the Poles repelled an attack on the A site (4-1).
Virtus.pro’s winning streak continued for six more rounds, after which the Swedes were able to take the B site (10-2). The Poles ended the first half-time on the map with three more successful defences, widening the score gap further (10-2).
Now on offense, VP.G2A quickly took the B site in a series of frags that ended with a knife kill by Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski (14-2). Gaining an economic advantage, Virtus.pro had no particular difficulty finishing the second map with a 16-2 victory.
