Vici Gaming out-edge VP in Katowice
The A Group's winner's final ends in favor of VG.
The first game was opened up with a firstblood in Virtus.pro's favor. However, Vici Gaming came ahead in a strenuous battle for towers in the early game. Virtus.pro managed to halt Vici Gaming's High Ground advance and claim the Roshan on the 35-minute mark, but failed to reclaim the initiative. After a couple of teamfights, two lanes were left completely exposed. The Roshpit skirmish ended in favor of Vici Gaming as well, but the Chinese team decided to wait for the next Roshan before attempting a final push. After spawning mega-creeps, VG sent all VP heroes respawning and ended the game.
The first blood in the second game had been claimed by Vici Gaming. The early game had been an intensive and equal struggle, just as the 20-minute mark teamfight, where Virtus.pro managed to claim Roshan despite losing four heroes in a subsequent teamfight. The Chinese team emerged victorious from a massive teamfight on the 37th minute. Virtus.pro were forced to turtle. At first, VG's attacks were fruitless, but eventually, VP's defense was shattered.
