Virtus.pro loses to PSG.LGD and falls into the lower bracket

The fight goes on.

The best-of-3 match has started with a first blood in favor of Virtus.pro. Our team has claimed a slight lead in the early game. After winning a couple of skirmishes our team has slain the first Roshan, but couldn't utilize the Aegis. PSG.LGD have closed the distance, dragging the game into the late game. The Chinese continued winning teamfights and performing successful ganks one after another, which allowed them to claim the second Roshan of the game. Virtus.pro couldn't deter the attack on their base and surrendered after losing barracks.

The first blood was scored by VP, but the next 3 minutes favored PSG.LGD, where they took a series of kills and launched ahead. Virtus.pro won a teamfight on the 14-minute mark and closed the distance. The first Roshan was claimed by the CIS team, but LGD yet again out-edged them in a teamfight. The second Roshan was claimed by VP, which allowed them to take the T3 on mid. Both line-ups started playing cautiously without making any proactive plays. The teams were tensely dancing around Roshpit and waiting for the final fight. After a slight delay, PSG.LGD emerged victorious from the deciding battle. Not having any buy-backs to continue the fight, Virtus.pro were left no choice but to continue fighting in the lower bracket.
