Virtus.pro finishes second in CAC 2018

The final favored Na'Vi.

The grand final was played in a best-of-3 format. The teams started the match on Virtus.pro's pick (Dust 2). The Poles started on attack and brilliantly executed the first half of the map (12:3). VP took the second pistol round following the side swap and almost effortlessly took the game to map point. After deflecting the enemy's last attack, the Polish Five guaranteed their victory – 16:3.

The match continued on Natus Vincere's pick – Nuke. Despite starting on CT side, the Poles only managed to claim 3 rounds in the first half of the map. After starting on the offense, Virtus.pro claimed one round but couldn't do much more – 4:16.

The deciding map (Train) commenced with four kills by NEO in defense. The Poles took two consecutive rounds but lost the first buy-round. Natus Vincere completely seized the initiative and ended the first half of the map with a score of 3:12 in their favor. After the side swap, VP attempted to comeback but were stopped in the round number 22 – 6:16.
