Virtus.pro goes into the TI8 playoffs

Virtus.pro – Vici Gaming – 0:2
RodjER opened up the series with a first blood. Vici Gaming, however, reclaimed the initiative after winning a series of skirmishes. The first Roshan ended up being taken by VG. The Chinese team continued pushing the advantage: on the 20th minute already VP were limited to their half of the map only. Being too resource-starved to fight VG back, Virtus.pro conceded on the 27-minute mark.
The second game's early was quite similar to that of first. Vici Gaming again had the reins when it came to early game skirmishes. VP managed to get ahead in farm, but the Chinese team didn't let go of the lead that easily. Virtus.pro scored a teamwipe around the Roshpit on the 22nd minute, and claimed the Roshan itself. The second Roshan was claimed by Vici Gaming, and the following teamfight left VP no chance to come back into the game.
Virtus.pro – VGJ.Storm – 2:0
Both teams showed quite a lot of respect in the early game. Virtus.pro managed to mount a slight lead in kills in the early phase. The first Roshan made our team's lead grow even more. VGJ.Storm lost their botlane barracks as soon as at 20th minute. Our team's unrelenting Highground assaults reached their goal in no time, finishing the first game of the series.
Even though the second game's early seemed to be uneventful at first, in the teamfight on the 12-minute mark VGJ.S lost their heroes whopping 7 times. Virtus.pro continued pushing their lead. Already on the 27th minute, the opponent lost their first barracks. The Roshpit dance gave Virtus.pro another 4 kills, which gave our team an opening to demolish the opponents' second lane. Not being able to hold VP off their base, VGJ.S were defeated.
