Virtus.pro finishes ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 run

A challenging day for Virtus.pro.

The Poles vetoed Nuke and Overpass, leaving Dust2 as their map of choice. MVP PK picked Inferno after banning Train and Cache.

Virtus.pro managed to grab 10 rounds on attack on the opponent's pick (10:5). After the sideswap, our team couldn't stop the comeback from the Koreans, finishing the half with only 3 rounds – 13:16.

Their own pick (dust_2) VP started in a quite convincing fashion, as the opponent only managed to get a hold of a single round on defense. After starting on CT, our team brought the match to its rightful conclusion in the round number 21 – 16:5.

ZOTAC Cup Masters 2018 semi-finalist was decided on Mirage. Virtus.pro were starting on offense, where they won 7 rounds (7:8). The Korean team's aggressive T-side play style proved to be a challenge for VP, as the opponent not only equalized the score, but reclaimed the initiative and finished the series in their favor – 11:16.
