Virtus.pro and SK Gaming agreed on a soccer match
Virtus.pro G2A and SK Gaming reached an agreement about a soccer match between the two teams’ CS:GO rosters. This has been announced by Anton Cherepennikov, managing partner at ESforce Holding. Details about the game will be made available soon.
Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski first came up with the idea of playing a soccer match. Our player asked whether it was possible to take the battle to the soccer field after the IEM Season XI. SK Gaming captain Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo supported the initiative and proposed to raise interest in the match with a $50k stake from both teams. The Poles accepted this condition, and ESForce Holding managing partner Anton Cherepennikov contacted Krzysztof Pikiewicz, ESL managing director for Poland and the CIS, to begin preparations for the match.
A passion for soccer is shared by players of both teams. pashaBiceps was featured in a video by the soccer blog Trenuj z Krychem, while the SK Gaming squad is acquainted with Neymar, the FC Barcelona forward who has an active interest in CS:GO.
