The Alliance prevailed over Virtus.pro at the Trinity Series

In the fourth round of the ESL team tournament, our Hearthstone lineup faced The Alliance. Previously, the Bears had scored a confident 6-2 victory over Team Liquid, while The Alliance beat Tempo Storm, also 6-2.

BunnyHoppor won the first duel against Powder (1-0). Staying on the same deck, Rafael Peltzer defeated Ostkaka and won twice against Orange, giving Virtus.pro a lead in the match (4-0). After two defeats in repeat duels against Harald “Powder” Gimre, BunnyHoppor ceded the seat to Olzhas “Naiman” Batyrbekov, who was also defeated: 4-4.

DrHippi became the Bears’ last hope. Artem Kravets lost both the first (4-5) and the second game (4-6).

Cloud9 will be VP.G2A’s next opponent at the ESL Trinity Series. The match will be held 16 February at 20:00 CET.
