Virtus.pro General Manager Roman Dvoryankin summarized CS:GO roster results in summer and shared plans on the fall competitive period.

I think the most important thing is that we finished the season on a high note. It's no secret that March, April, May and June weren't easy. The fact that the guys hit top 4 at the Major before vacation, a very difficult Major given the teams in the finals, is very important. What matters the most is that they made the local crowd happy with their play. I think everyone remembers Snax knifing one of our Scandinavian friends at the beginning of the match versus North.

Most importantly, we finished the season on a high note, and now the guys are going to have a big three-week vacation before fall. They will go on a boot camp straight out of the vacation, because it went well in Cologne. It's known that they hadn't had a real boot camp in a while, because they hadn't needed one. They have a great discipline in terms of playing together online, nevertheless the Cologne boot camp was very useful.

So we will gather up for a small 7–10-day boot camp, then comes DreamHack Malmö, afterwards there is going to be a tournament which we're yet to announce. This fall is going to be quite packed, as there are also New York and another NA tournament. Now we're focused on the vacation and preparation for the next season. I returned from Kiev, pleasantly surprised with the support of the home crowd, and the feeling is the same here. It was very nice to see this insane support, and I hope that we'll be able to live up to our fans' expectations in the future.
