Virtus.pro in China: the way it was before. And some Counter-Strike 1.6 bonus!

A post to warm you up before CS:GO Asia Championship.

Virtus.pro are no strangers to tournaments in China. The last tournament they've played in – StarLadder i-League Shangjai 2017. That was right after the second place in EPICENTER 2017, and our team had all chances to win in Shanghai. We caught bit of bad luck, though. Let's recall some of the hottest moments of that tournament!

NEO clutches 1 v 3

Being the last alive on Pit near the A plant against three Renegades players, Filip “NEO” Kubski carries the round wielding only a p250.

Snax finds some use to his knife!

In a match against the Australian team on Mirage, Janusz "Snax” Pogorzelski brought his favorite weapon to the gunfight – a knife!

byali clutches 1 v 3

In the semi-final against Heroic Paweł "byali" Bieliński won a most difficult clutch on Nuke's lower bombsite by showing miracles of trigger discipline and positioning.

TaZ defends a planted bomb against three opponents

Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas repeated NEO's feat by defending a planted bomb on the A site against three Australians from Renegades.

byali and his insane CZ75

Virtus.pro were one step away from Renegades' impending comeback, but  Paweł "byali" Bieliński's aim allowed the Poles to take the round in a 2 v 2 situation without even planting.

And now some Counter-Strike 1.6

And now the promised bonus. Let's go back eight years to the time where there was no CS:GO, but there were tournaments in China. In WEM 2010's semi-final, which took place in Changzhou, Filip “NEO” Kubski single-handedly dispatched all fnatic players on Nuke. Just take a look at Filip Kubski effortlessly erasing everything he sees from the face of the map.
